Tropical resort nestled on a lush hillside

About Belmonde

A quiet green sanctuary.

Shade, water and time to notice both.

The idea

A hotel small enough to feel like a house.

Belmonde was imagined as the kind of place its founders kept looking for and never quite found: a hotel small enough to feel like a private house, serious enough about wellness to shape the day around it, and rooted enough in Thailand that the architecture, the food and the rituals all belong to where they are.

What we believe

Three commitments.

Restraint

Fewer rooms, more space. Materials that age well: teak, stone, raw cotton and celadon. Nothing gilded, nothing loud.

Ritual

Days shaped by Thai wellness traditions — nuad Thai, herbal compresses, stillness at sunrise — rather than by a schedule.

Anticipation

Hospitality in the Thai spirit of kreng jai: hosts who notice before you ask, and never make you feel you have imposed.
